We are committed to making our application process and workplace accessible for individuals with disabilities. We will provide reasonable accommodation, upon request, for an individual applicant to participate in the application process. Interview & Preparation

Preparation: Interviews may last up to 90 minutes or more. Be prepared to schedule enough time. In addition, refresh your memory and consider specific situations from your past work experiences where you:

  • Solved a problem
  • Coached others
  • Handled a conflict
  • Made decisions
  • Managed projects
  • Influenced others
  • Made recommendations for improvement
  • Came up with innovative ideas

We may ask you to describe the actions you took in these situations and the impact your actions had on patients, peers, customers and other staff members in the organization. The time you invest in preparing will contribute to an effective and productive interview. Remember, you also are interviewing us as a potential employer.

Job Requirements: You may request the job description and position requirements before your interview to adequately understand the essential responsibilities, required skills and working conditions for the position of which you have applied.

Research: Discover who we are and what we do at National Jewish Health by visiting our website. Bring questions and make notes of things you want more information about during the interview.

Reminders: Be on time for your interview. Dress appropriately for your interview, and remember we are a tobacco and fragrance-free campus.
