Our STAR Treatment: Internal Reward and Recognition Program is designed to promote superior customer service across campus. Two of our employees, Angela and Jimmie, show outstanding STAR qualities every day by assisting patients and families who come to the cafeteria. On one particular day, they assisted a patient who had unfortunately lost his dentures while enjoying a meal. When the patient discovered this, Angela and Jimmie did not hesitate to search through leftover food and trash in the garbage. They refused to give up until it was found. After searching for a period of time, they were excited to discover the dentures wrapped up in a napkin. The patient was so grateful and amazed at the perseverance of their efforts. We’re proud to have STAR employees like Angela and Jimmie.
