Manager, Clinical Information Systems

Job Details: - Bachelor's Degree in related field required
- 6 years recent and related experience required
To manage the applications programming and analysis staff for the Clinical and Hospital applications. To maintain and improve operations and the flow of management information at National Jewish. Provides overall leadership of major software implementation projects, whether in-house developed or licensed from software vendors. Coordinates the compilation of requirements documents, helps select vendor. Plans the implementation, including new hardware requirements, training, interfaces, database conversions, testing, and overall project schedule. Coordinates the activities of in-house I.S. staff, user department leaders consultant personnel. Prepares progress reports. Assumes overall responsibility for timely completion. Managerial ability and project planning skills. Strong technical knowledge of application database systems technology.
