This is a major opportunity for a single Cardiology leader to emerge in forging the future of two outstanding facilities into one dynamic program which will develop a Cardiovascular Center of Excellence and elevate both well respected hospitals to be known for having the absolute best care in Cardiovascular medicine.
Chief Responsibilities:

  • Developing clinical and teaching programs.
  • Guiding a robust cardiovascular research program.
  • Building a unified Cardiology Division to become recognized nationally.
  • Recruiting outstanding individuals.
  • Expanding the cardiovascular services offered.

Director Responsibilities:

  • Working collaboratively across both care sites to develop a Cardiovascular Center of


  • Engaging leaders from both institutions in setting priorities and performance expectations for administrative, financial, quality and clinical care outcomes.
  • Developing a best practice patient care delivery system that supports the mission of National Jewish Health and Saint Joseph Hospital.


  • Proven leadership, mentoring and administrative abilities.
  • A strong commitment to lead towards national prominence.
  • Outstanding record of patient care.
  • BC in Internal Medicine and Cardiology.
  • Eligible to hold a Colorado license.
